The IR Reggie Forward-Adjust backband features patented adjustable, no-slip ratchet technology. The Reggie’s small footprint provides maximum back support. Comfortable, easy to install and adjust, the IR Reggie is a great replacement for your kayak’s original backband.

The Reggie Forward-Adjust backband fits into kayaks with the backband adjustment mechanism on the thigh braces - like you see in many Jackson and Pyranha cockpits. The Forward-Adjust version comes with all of the parts necessary to replace your current backband system. It is NOT recommended to use this in boats that were not originally designed as forward-adjust. In many cases, the thigh braces in these boats were not designed to withstand the pressure applied by a backband.
